Que Serena 1995 Gray (Bay) Mare 14.2 hands La Saguro (Nagasaki X Safia) X Tafalita (GG Samir x Tafal De Washoe) Serena is respectful of people, friendly and easy to handle. She's been accustomed to the pasture through cold Iowa winters, and she's also very good in a barn. She has had all groundwork, including a saddle, and in my opinion would be easy to train for a rider. Serena moves out with a lot of ground covering power. Her stamina and endurance is fantastic. She's been at our farm since Jan 2008 and has had daily handling and excellent care. She is UTD on farrier work, vaccines and deworming. She's in great health and very sound, an easy keeper. Vet checks are welcome at buyers expense. Coggins and transport will be responsibility of buyer. It has been determined that Serena is a SCID carrier. A clear X a carrier can never produce an affected foal. Our stallion is SCID and CA clear if you purchase Serena and would like to consider a breeding to him I would be willing to cover her in the spring of 2010 with my straight Spanish stallion at this price. If you have an Arabian stallion that you would like to know the SCID status of, contact me and I can tell you where to get testing at a reduced rate. In August of 2009 Serena gave birth to a beautiful typy bay/gray filly with great movement and conformation. Sadly, the filly was SCID affected. This filly was a perfect picture of an Arabian foal. | 1999 Gaited Black Morgan Mare (non-papered) This is a sturdy solid mare that could carry you on trails all day! Her racking gait makes her extremely fun to ride and she floats just like a boat. She can also do a running rack and is very fast! I believe she was possibly used for driving, but I took her under saddle in 2008 and have continued on with her training this year. She has a gorgeous thick long mane and tail and a beautiful hair coat. Her markings are two little white fetlocks and a small star. She is a very easy keeper and gets along well with all the other horses. I am selling Kira as a green broke, and I would recommend an intermediate to experienced rider for that reason. With some riding time I think she'd work well for any level of rider. She learns really quickly and loves attention and being with her people. I feel she is ready to go to her new home, with the right owner who will enjoy her awesome gait. Buyer responsible for shipping expenses and vet checks. UTD on all vaccines and hoof trim.
