Quarter Horses & Cross Breeds
Chester
2003 Sorrel Tovero Gelding

(QH/Paint Cross)

We've had Chester since a 3 year old, Purchased
him in West Point, NE in 2006.

He is put together extremely well! Solid-sturdy and
healthy. He has the smoothest trot ever. Could trot
all day on him and never get tired. He can also really
move out,  he is very fast. He's had a total of  120
days of professional training and has been under
saddle since the summer of his 3rd year.

He's been ridden in a large feed lot and has had
some roping off of him. It's almost like roping is
second nature, so this is where I'd take him and one
would likely be a winner.

Chester also knows how to do a trotting side pass.

Would sell as a roper with the right offer.
ZLA Viator
2002 Chestnut Gelding
Pedigree

Tobascco: 1998 Liver Chestnut Stallion
X
RV Rosalita: 1997 Chestnut Mare
(Purebred Spanish Arabian)

Viator has been started under saddle, but needs to finish his
training. He's nicely muscled in the hindquarter and has hocks of
excellent conformation. He would make an awesome
performance horse that could win big in most disciplines that are
fast paced and exciting. He has jaw dropping movement that is to
die for.

I've had several offers on this horse from people who have
witnessed his powerful trot. He stands out in a crowd and draws
others right towards him, so usually visitors to our place notice
him first.

I can't say I'd never sell him, but would need to be the right price
and the right owner, he's certainly a favorite of mine. Viator
would need a trainer highly experienced with Arabians that can
meet him in the middle and connect through a highly organized
way of equine thinking. There's no room for error with this horse,
he's so intelligent he instantly reads the mind of his handler and
anticipates what they are asking. So if they ask the wrong thing,
that's what they get!
Twister AKA "Little One"
2007 purebred QH Sorrel Colt

Twister has had some basic halter/ground work.  He
love's attention, but yet not pushy and is completely
respectful of his handler.

Has an awesome light flaxen mane/tail, and a very
classic Roman nose, but yet a smallish head that is
handsome with big eyes! He is very Throughbred built,
and moves very nicely. Also has exceptional speed.

Twister's now a two year old. Ready to start under
saddle. He's a lot of fun to work with and hasn't lost his
playful colt personality, but yet he's never mean and
wouldn't hurt a fly!

I lovingly call this boy "little one" but he's going to be
one big horse! He towers over many of the Arabians
already at over 14 hands, and has very nice muscling
and a deep shoulder. He leans towards an all around
family horse, but would love to chase cows, that is if he
could get his afternoon nap in afterwards.

If you or someone you know are interested in Twister, I
would sell or trade for the right offer.
Vince
1989 Chestnut Gelding

Vince is an Appendix QH/Throughbred.
He is a retired, ranch-roping head horse.

He's very good with children and is one of our lesson
horses and a great confidence builder! Vince also
helps teach the other horses. He's solid under saddle
and has the mental capacity to do anything asked of
him! Vince is an extremely honest horse and has the
manners of a gentleman. He will collect, counter
canter, side pass and do very quick lead changes.
Looks very thoroughbred and even at his age can
move very much like a dressage horse, although not
trained to be one, he's just a natural.
Jesse

1988 Sorrel Purebred QH Gelding

Jesse came to us through a breeder who bought him at a
sale barn for us to be used as a beginner's horse.

Jesse has been earning his keep as a lesson horse. He
loves kids and wants to be with people. Jesse has had a
lot of riding time in his day and was used in a feedlot for
most of his life.

He's conformationally very nice and obviously has been
well bred.

I enjoy this horse immensely because he also has a good
sense of humor and a winning attitude. I never have to
use a halter or a lead rope to take this horse anywhere.
He's glued to me like a puppy and he adores attention
like no other!
Charlie
1994 Gray Egyptian Arabian/Morgan Cross
gelding. Former Jumper.

Charlie was donated to us by a lovely family, wanting to find an
Arabian friendly home for him.

Charlie has had some riding time in the indoor arena and here on
the farm, and he is coming around nicely. He's learning softness
and collection. This is a very smart horse with a super
personality. He's extremely playful, but at the same time has
impeccable ground manners. He exhibits extreme presence and
style, much like that of an Arabian Stallion!

Certainly a horse that says "look at me" If he's really 1/2 Arab, I
must say he's more handsome than many purebreds. His
breeder must have studied this one, they did a great job!

Charlie is on his way to becoming an intermediate to advanced
lesson horse. Students will love jumping with him, it's a blast!
